On tap at Bierlokaal de Uiver. Black colour, beige head. Aroma is very boozy, wood, green apples, coconut, some brown sugar, whisky, chocolate. Flavour is boozy, green apples, coconut, whisky, chocolate, roast, hint of soy, bitter. Full bodied. Not very refined, not worth the price tag.

Tap at Arendsnest. Black with tan head. Served too cold. Massive roasted chocolate malts, hint of coconut, vanilla, charcoal, berries, rye bread and raisans, oak wood, grain, salmiak, peat, whisky, alcohol. Big sweet and bitter. Full body with powdery dry feel to it, and soft carbonation. Has all kinds of nice aroma notes but the alcoholic notes and raw grain whisky are overpowering them all. To be honest it was better when it was still icy cold. --- Beer merged from original tick of Barrel Project 17.11 on 24 Mar 2018 at 15:51 - Score: 7. Original review text: Black, tan head.
