Vuur & Vlam is an overly hopped beer. Yet, it's not aggressive in it's bitterness or too grassy from the hops. We mainly retrieve the fruit and floral aromas from the hops. Giving it a huge hop character with the nasty bitterness. Flavor indication: citrus, floral, light grassy. Translates as Fire & Flames

Slightly hazy golden colour, quickly dissipating white head, leaving some big bubbles. Aroma of hop, madeira, malt, honey, dried apricot and candied orange peel. Light sweet flavour, light bitter (for an IPA), some honey, malt and hop tones. Quite full body and lasting bitter finish.
Not bad, but I have the feeling this beer was better in the past, or has it aged so rapidly?

0.33l bottle. Hazy orange body with a huge white head. Citrusy, grassy hops, caramel and honey in the aroma. Taste is like the aroma: lots of citrusy, grassy hops with a caramely sweetness(actually it has lots of sweetness for an IPA). Very nice.

Bottle at home 2nd September 2012. Very fizzy, huge head, like the last De Molen , disappears good lacing though. Flavour is good, refreshing yeasty and hoppy, rich palate. Not bad

Tap at the Euston Tap - 10/04/12. Slightly hazy (chill?) copper/orange with a mid sized white head. Nose is full of hops, tropical fruits and grass. Juicy resinous hops in the taste, tangerine, grapefruit, mango. Medium bodied and carbonation with a bitter finish - I liked!

Aroma is fruity with mango and passion. Also hints of caramel. Flavour is hoppy with exotic fruits, some biscuits and caramel. Quite nice ”light IPA.”

330ml Bottle - Amber/gold with a white head. Hoppy and earthy smell with notes of malt, toffee, peanut butter, grapefruit and dried apricot. Nicely balanced taste with malt and hops both vying for attention. Notes of grapefruit, toffee and peach can be detected.
