Vuur & Vlam is an overly hopped beer. Yet, it's not aggressive in it's bitterness or too grassy from the hops. We mainly retrieve the fruit and floral aromas from the hops. Giving it a huge hop character with the nasty bitterness. Flavor indication: citrus, floral, light grassy. Translates as Fire & Flames

Golden colour with lasting head. Aroma and flavour have plenty of sweet malts. Has a well rounded bitterness. Slightly piney... Old rating 2012: 6-2-5-3-11 Golden blond colour, soapy head. Has a raw malty aroma like a malt drink. Smooth mouthfeel. Flavour also has a very basic malt taste. The fruity hop comes through at the end giving a pleasant bitterness.

33cl bottle, bottled on 3/2012. Poured hazy orange with huge frothy lasting head. Tropical fruits in aroma, as well as lots of plastic notes. Flavor has citrus, tropical fruits, yeast and malt. Bitter finish. Heavy, thick in texturel. Enjoyable, minus for the aroma.

Bottle - Heavy grapefruit but with orange peel, passion fruit and spice. Cloudy orange with medium persistent head. Sweet grapefruit, mild bitterness and yeasty finish. Wonderfully smooth and creamy but mellow.

33cl bottle. Amber colour with a good formation of a white head, nice lacing, good persistence. Aroma is fresh, hoppy and floral. Flavour is slightly malty, bittery with hints of citrus and orange. The final has a good persistence of bitterness. Carbonation is medium. Body is medium.

330ml bottle. Cloudy amber colour with huge firm frothy to creamy lacing white head. Decent floral and fruity hop aroma seems to suffocate in the frothy head. One-dimensional grassy hop taste, flavourless malt basis. Disappointing.

Cloudy beige beer. Thick white head which is creamy and light. The beer is also light and frothy. Light creamy malt and a little dry. Soft spritzy hops but not that bitter or full on. Finishes soft and semi dry. A lovely light and tasty beer that delights with it’s subtle charms.

Aroma: Strong herbal notes. Bitter hops.
Appearance: Murky amber body with tiny yeast flecks. No head whatsoever - a bit disappointing. Very little carbonation.
Taste: Sweet taste. Musty pine and peach notes.
Palate: Slick, oily texture. Gentle carbonation fizz.
Overall: Not an intense IPA - no biting bitterness or punchy, fruity hops. Instead, this is quite boring and flat. Disappointing.
