Vuur & Vlam is an overly hopped beer. Yet, it's not aggressive in it's bitterness or too grassy from the hops. We mainly retrieve the fruit and floral aromas from the hops. Giving it a huge hop character with the nasty bitterness. Flavor indication: citrus, floral, light grassy. Translates as Fire & Flames

Keg at Euston Tap, London. A hazy golden/amber coloured pour with a decent white head on top. Sweet, fruity aroma. Tastes sweet, spice, hoppy, malty, Belgian influenced. Smooth drinking and pretty good but I was expecting more from De Molen.

A slightly cloudy, copperbrown beer with a almost medium and blond head. Ou, ou, great aroma, that is full of fresh fruitsallad, tropical fruits, papaias and some sweetness and pine forest. Taste is also fruitfull, papaias, quite lot of piney and slightly grassy bitterness. Medium- bodied, quite lot of carbonation, nice to drink, but overally body is still too light, that reduce enjoyability. Great tropical fruitsallad, that charms, fruitfreaks, great beer!

33cl bottle. Pours golden with a lazy bubble or two and a nice generous head. The nose has pine and grapefruit pith. The taste has lemon and grapefruit sorbet. The palate has a medium body, a thick, creamy texture and a nice zingy finish. Overall, itβs like a Belgian (or Dutch) influenced IPA. Nice beer.

27/03/2011 Mad For Beer (tap).

33 cl bottle, young. Color is amber. White head, but not much. Smells of caramel malt, sweet, lots of hops, resin, citrus, all nicely balanced. Retronasal itβs a bit harsher, not much maltiness, but hopbitterness instead. Flavor is medium bitter with a bit of malty sweetness. Medium bodied. Nice bitter finish.

Bottle shared at the 6th annual Richmond Industry Gathering, 11/27/11. Pours a hazy peach color with a large white head. Decent head retention and lacing. Aroma of caramel malts, big citrus hops, pineapple and syrupy notes. The taste is big citrus, peppery and tropical hops and sweet malts. Medium bodied. Much like an American IPA.
