Vuur & Vlam is an overly hopped beer. Yet, it's not aggressive in it's bitterness or too grassy from the hops. We mainly retrieve the fruit and floral aromas from the hops. Giving it a huge hop character with the nasty bitterness. Flavor indication: citrus, floral, light grassy. Translates as Fire & Flames

Bottle. #719. Rich amber beer with a dark cream colored head. Grapefruit and summer fruit aroma. Malt and earth flavor with summer fruit and pine. Medium bodied. Pine and earth lingers with sumemr fruti and grapefruit.

Pours hazy copper with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, orange, citrus, grape and hint of pine. Taste is light to medium sweet and medium bitter with a long citrus and orange fruity finish. Body is medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.

Pours a muddy orangey brown colour with a massive, rocky head. Nose is lychees, gooseberries, pine needles and tropical fruit. Flavour is pine, gooseberries, nettles and pine apple. Long, intense bitterness.

Cloudy amber with a beige head. Aroma is rather hoppy - peach, pine and grapefruit. Flavor is medium sweet and rather bitter. Very dry and rather bitter finish. Could use some more malts for sweetness and body. 070510

33cl Bottle from Kris Wines. Pours cloudy orange with a large foamy white head. Higher carbonation than anticipated (on the verge of too much). Nose; pine, hay, very fruity (lemons, grapefruit, passion fruit and lychee) with an undertone of varnish. Taste; creamy mouthfeel, lots of citrus fruit, earthy, varnish, wood, smokey, good hop bitterness balanced by subtle honey. Dry finish, well balanced, good all round IPA.

Bottle @ Baran, Bergen shared with ClubGonzo. Pours a hazy light orange body with a gigantic lacing and everlasting head. Soft, fruity and sweet aromas with grassy hops, strawberry and mild hints of soap and earth. Medium-bodied with a really lively carbonation (perhaps a bit to much?) with a quite nice stingy note from the hops. Balanced quite nicely with a sweet honey-like sweetness that rounds it up and makes this quite a nice and different IPA.

Bottle: Poured a cloudy light orangey color ale with a large foamy head with good retention and some good lacing. Aroma of citrus and bitter hops is dominant with light traces of cat pee. Taste is also dominated by citrus notes with a bitter finish and nice floral notes with some subtle traces of cat pee. Body is full with great carbonation. Well brewed though more floral notes would have been even better.

bottle, courtesy of Bierkoning. Hazy amber-golden colour, large white head. Hoppy nose. Medium-bodied, solid malty base, lots of resiny and piney hop flavours, shy hints of citrus fruit. Very high carbonation, emphasizing the spiciness of the beer.

Thanks Jonas! Hazy amber - looks like nothing special. Fairly bright hop nose with blackberry, woody-herbal notes and mango. Very fizzy with deep fruity berryish character. Ok, it’s too fizzy but if they eased that up a bit I would really like it. I like the bright cantaloupe stuff in there.
