Barrel Serie: Big Boy is not only the popular name of the American Locomotive Company 4000-class 4-8-8-4 articulated, coal-fired, steam locomotives manufactured between 1941 and 1944 and operated by the Union Pacific Railroad until 1959. It’s also our Imperial Oatmeal Stout brewed with loads of chocolate malt. In this version the Big Boy went a little (hazel)nuts after it was aged on Old Forrester Bourbon Barrels for 4 months.

Draft. A black beer with a very thin head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, caramel, and wood. The flavor is sweet with notes of roasted malt, alcohol, caramel, nuts, and whiskey, leading to a dry roasted finish.

Brewskival 2017. Almost black with a minimal head. Sweet with alcohol, dark malt, some dark fruit and caramel. Ok.

Brewskival 2017. Smak och doft choklad, kaffe, lakrits, rostade toner, karamell med aningar av jordnötter och trä. Rund och len, lagom sötma, något skarp, fin beska.

Brewskival 2017. En lätt syrlig och lite vass IS. Crunchy choklad-bar - typ Lion, med kola och karamell, kex, jordnötskakor, ek och tjärpastill. Lite väl skarp dock. Funkar sådär.

Brewskival, Lördag. Kolsvart utan skum. Crunchy choklad-bar - typ Lion, med kola och karamell, kex, jordnötskakor tillsammans med värmande Forester, ek och tjärpastill. Lite väl skarp dock.
