Medium offwhite head quickly dissipates with a fizzing sound. Hazy deep dark reddish body. Fruity candy and banana chocolate aroma with dusty notes. Sweetish earthy dusty fruity taste with cardamom notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft, dusty mouthfeel, slightly flat. Sweetish fruity cardamom aftertaste with earthy spicy notes. Unusual, with some strange flavour combinations. (0.33l bottle, from wine monopoly, Lørenskog.)

From Vinmonopolet sentrum Tromsø. Shared bottles with friends. Beige head, hazy brown-red body, clingy lacing. Nuts and dried fruity smell. Fine blended taste of raisin, berries, bread, and herbal hops. Mid-sweet malt-fruity ending. Medium bodied. Rather pleasing stuff (Den store juleøltesten at Finns place, Tromsø 18.11.2016).

Bottle. It’s an unclear brown beer with a dense, beige head of moderate size. The aroma has toffee, dried fruits, some alcohol and a light roasted malts touch. Sort of grainy, with pine cones, grass and a resiny touich. It’s full-bodied, there’s a warming feeling in the mouth even though it’s only 6% ABV, probably only me feeling it that way. Nice carbonation level. Bread, toffee, some roasted malts, hints of chocolate and a decent hoppy bitterness too. Not that it needs much bitterness, it’s not very sweet. Lasting quite dry finish. A bit dry and on the bready side to be really good this one. Needs more dried fruits I think. Perhaps some sweetness too. 161118

Bottle 330ml @ Geokkjer
Pours slightly hazy amber brown with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, bread, dried fruits and floral. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter with a long caramel, dried fruity, light yeasty and bread finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Behagelig, mild bitterhet i ettersmaken.
