India Pale Ale is een wat zwaarder biertype en kan daardoor wat zwaar zijn voor een warme zomerdag. Deze session IPA is fruitig hoppig als een IPA, maar lichter qua alcohol. Door het lagere alcoholpercentage (3,3%) is Jopen Life’s a Beach een mooie doordrinkbare IPA. Life’s not a Bitch!

Bottle at De Staat. Clear golden with white head. Sweet barley malts, fudge with fruity and resiny edges, citrus peel, herbal weedy hoppiness, French pastry buns. Moderate sweet and bitter. Under medium body, watery and slightly slick and oily feel. Soft carbonation.

33cl Bottle from AH. Slightly hazy golden orange colour, white head. Aroma of fruit salad, sweet, fruity, hoppy, soft citrus. Flavour is light malty, watery, light fruity, decent bitterness, hoppy. Light bodied, watery. Too sweet and fruity to be really refreshing imho. Decent though.

Bottle. Orange golden color. Aroma of peach, orange and bready malt. Taste has soft caramel, orange, peach, bready malt and some citrus. Not bad.
