1/12/2019. Cask, sample, courtesy of danlo, cheers Ed! Pours almost black with minimal head. Aroma of dark chocolate, fresh filter coffee, roasted malt, ash, dark fruit, bonfire. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness. Medium body, slight creamy texture, soft carbonation. Rich, roasty finish. Decent brew, getting quite a lot out of it's 4.4%.

Cask at Redhouse, Newcastle. Black colour, beige foam head leaving lacing and aroma of coffee grounds, roast malt, chocolate. Taste is roasty, smokey, coffee, with dark chocolate, lactose-like hints, and earthy ashy bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry roasted coffee bitter finish. Nicely drinkable
