Dunkel-style dark brown ale, brewed with Chocolate Malt and extra Oats for depth, a very small amount of Pilgrim at the start of the boil, and late hopped with a blend Columbus and Summit. Not stopping there, we've also dry hopped in the FV with Amarillo for a bit extra kick. Malt sweetness comes through at the start, followed by hop flavours at the finish.

Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 6.5
Keg at Big Mash Up Beer Festival, Steam Machine Brewery, Newton Aycliffe. Dark brown colour, white foam head and aroma of zesty citrus, roasty. Taste is malty, zesty, citrus with tangy bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry bitter finish. Quite drinkable
