25/10/2019. Cask sample courtesy of danlo, cheers Ed! Pours mid to dark brown with a small off-white head. Aroma of roasted malt, caramel, coffee, light aniseed, hazelnut and chocolate. Moderate sweetness, medium plus bitterness. Medium body, watery oily texture, soft carbonation. Bitter roasted finish.

Cask at Hole in the Wall, Darlington. Dark brown colour, beige foam head leaving lacing and aroma of chocolate, malt. Taste is sweetish, chocolatey & malty with some caramel, biscuit, coffee notes and nutty bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, nutty bitter finish. Quite drinkable
