Cold fermented on the farm using 19 varieties of cider apples from 1500 trees in their orchard. Also run an apple swap with the gardeners of Sussex for surplus dessert apples. Cattle fed left over pomace each autumn. Wild and wine yeasts. Filtered, unpasteurised, slight sparkle and balanced with just apple juice (no added sugar). Varies a little year on year.

330ml bottle from Micro Beer Crate online. Clear gold, brief fizzy head. Sweet apple juice, some barnyard but fairly clean in aroma. Quite sweet and mellow in taste with some tannins and a light dry finish. Easy to drink pleasant cider.

Draft at Steamworks, Seaford. Poured a hazy golden yellow colour with a thin broken white head. The aroma is crushed apples. The flavour is moderate sweet, with a crisp, acidic, sweet apple, light floral herbal palate. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation.

3/10/2019. Growler sample courtesy of danlo, cheers Ed! Pours hazy golden orange with a small bubbly white head. Aroma of sweet apple juice, fresh cut shrubbery, light brown sugar baked apple. Medium sweetness, light tartness. Moderate body, slight watery texture, soft to flat carbonation.

BIAB to growler fill from Caps Off, Bishop Auckland. Golden amber colour, afew bubbles on top and aroma of juicy apple & horseblanket funk. Taste is sweet, juicy apple, baked apple, alittle biscuit, with some slight barnyard and tannin. Medium bodied, low carbonation, dry light tannic finish. Quite drinkable.
