Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up in Sofia, likely at Nosferatu. Pours deep brown with a fluffy khaki head. Lots of ashy roast in here, black coffee, dry scorched earth. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Dry finish, ample bittersweet baking cocoa, more ash, bitter coffee. Pretty straightforward. Not bad.

Bottle at Beera, pours black with a medium tan head. Nose is nicely roasted, with medium roasted malt and a touch of cocoa. Flavour is along the same lines, with medium roasted malt running through this. Dry and roasted. By the books but well done. Very good.

Summer 2017 in Sofia, shared with lovely Anja and Our K&K Igor. Black, minimal tan head. Chocolate and macchiato aroma, light marzipan, light roasty, some red fruit. Light dry and roasty, light tart. Watery, light to medium body, soft to moderate carbonation, light dry finish, tart from roasted malts. Nice and gentle stout.
