500ml bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours a deep clear purple with a fizzy off-white head which dissipates to a circular collection of bubbles. Aroma is as advertised with a fruity berry and more deep cherry notes. Taste is very sweet and tart with cherries dominating over berries, big marzipan flavour, somewhat syrupy, hint of apple. Its certainly flavourful. Maybe the balance between apple and other fruit is not quite balanced but it is tasty, if a little over-sweetened.

500ml bottle from the Cheese & Wine shop, Darlington. Bright red colour, pink foam head that dissipates away and aroma of dark cherry & berries. Taste is sweet, berry flavours, with dark cherry, marizpan, cough medicine. Medium bodied, medium carbonation, sweet berry & cherry finish. OK

500ml bottle, lockdown bottle shared with the wife. Pours reddy orange with low carbonation. Aroma is cherry, blackberry and apple. Taste has cherry throughout with a little apple on the finish.

Bottle from some Surrey garden centre or other. A brief burst of cherry sweetness. This is then overpowers by the tart apples and berries. Ruby red. No head. Sweet with a tangy sour edge. The apple is more prominent into the finish. Overall it's Ribena-esque. Light bodied. Thin but sticky. Average-fizzy carbonation. Long dry slightly astringent finish. It's OK. Hard Ribena.
