Dave was born out of a long-term collaboration between “Green Shed Cider” and “Crazy Dave’s Cider”. Dave is a blend of West Berkshire apples and classic Ashton Bitter Cider apples. The Tannins in the Herefordshire cider apples complement the natural acidity in the West Berkshire culinary apples, creating a unique blend. We know you will like it.

Bottle from Scrattings @ 5.8%. Cloudy gold, some white bubbled foam around the edges. Aroma has a clean apple core note with bittersweet hints and barnyard funk. Taste of musky apple juice with skin and core notes, acidic with some citrus hints, somewhat funky, semi-dry. Medium bodied with low but nice gentle carbonation. OK.

Bottle from A Hoppy Place, Windsor. Grabbed this from stash when I realised that I could make 50 Apple Cider ticks during 2020. Fuck you Covid. Musty apple peel aroma combined with honey and sweet juice. A slight haze to the amber body. No head. Light sour with bitter hints. Tannin and peel. Underlying sweetness appears into the finish. Smooth throughout. Medium bodied. Slick. Flat carbonation. Astringent finish. Enjoyable enough without being flashy.

6/7/2020. Sample courtesy of danlo, cheers Ed! Pours hazy dull gold with a small bubbly white head. Aroma is stewed apple, apple pulp, light funk, wood and caramel. Moderate sweetness and light tartness. Some drying, astringent, tannic notes to finish. Quite enjoyable.

500ml bottle from Scrattings. Hazy golden colour, no head and aroma of tangy tannic apples. Taste is sweetish, orchardy, apple, fruity, with mellow woody funk, alittle tart acidity and soft tannins. Medium bodied, low carbonation, medium dry finish. Quite drinkable.
