17/5/2020. Sample courtesy of danlo, cheers Ed! Pours clear pale gold with a slight bubbly white head. Aroma is sweet, appley, a little musty, caramel, pastry and perfume. Medium sweetness and light tartness. Moderate body, average carbonation. Sweet and slightly dry to finish.

500ml bottle from Scrattings. Sparkling, golden colour, white bubbly foam head that quickly dissipates away and aroma of tangy apple. Taste is fruity apple, some apple core, sweetish, caramel hint, with wood, oak, vanilla, funk, alittle tartness and earthy tannins. Medium bodied, medium carbonation, medium-dry finish. Quite drinkable.

Bottle from Better Foods, Wapping Wharf, Bristol. Golden in colour, and slightly hazy with a touch of carbonation. Juicy apples, starting with a touch of sweetness, before turning more tart, with a touch of barnyard character and oak before a dryish finish. A good Somerset cider.
