The Hofbräu tent at the Oktoberfest is known for its lively atmosphere. Here is where the world comes to celebrate. Down Under in Lederhosen. Of course, the most popular folk festival in the world wouldn't be complete without a very special beer: Hofbräu Oktoberfest beer is a full-bodied, bottom-fermented specialty beer. With its fine hoppy aroma, it’s perfect alongside a classic Oktoberfest roasted chicken.

Frothy white head. Golden color. Fairly full bodied with nice malty bready backbone. Modest bitterness. Not exactly that we’ll balanced. It’s nice enough, but not mind blowing

Bottle at home. Pours a clear golden colour and off-white head. Aroma of spicy hops, sweet corn, rind, grass, pale malt and hay. Malty flavour with hay, sweet corn and grass in the end. Has a slick mouth feel, light to medium body and light bitterness. Malty with a nice hoppy touch.

Keg at Fierce Bar. It pours clear yellow - gold with a small white head. The aroma is cracker, slighty papery, toasty grain, grass, a touch of fruit cake, twist of weak citrus and apple. The taste is crisp, dry, straw, grass, cracker, floury bread, peppery spice, weak citrus, estery, apple skin, some melon and boozy warmth with a drying finish. Lighter end of medium body and moderate, foamy carbonation. A bit papery in areas. Fair.
