22/2/2020. Bottle sample courtesy of danlo, cheers Ed! Pours clear mid-brown with a bubbly off-white head. Aroma of aniseed, ginger biscuit, toffee and brown bread. Medium sweetness, light bitterness. Full body, sticky texture. Missed the theatrics but enjoyed the beer.

750ml bottle from the brewer at Bowes Christmas Market. Massive explosion of beer on opening by Rasmus! Rating from what's left... Deep brown colour, beige foam head and aniseed aroma. Taste is sweetish, liquorice, aniseed with tangy, spicy, earthy bitterness. Medium bodied, soft foamy carbonation, aniseedy finish. Quite OK
