Durchaus trinkbar

Many thanks to Simon for this bottle. Great roasted beginning with hints of nuts. Easy to drink, slightly grainy with a soft and dry roasted back. Moderate bitterness, nice Ale aromatic with a very dry and roasted bitter aftertaste. very nice classic Bitter!

8/7/2020. Sample courtesy of the SHIG, cheers! Pours clear amber with a bubbly white head. Aroma of malt, toffee, hops, biscuit and fruit. Medium sweetness and moderate bitterness. Moderate body, oily texture, quite fizzy carbonation. Not great. St.Peter’s beers used to be better than this.

Bottle courtesy of SimonTomlinson via the RB EU 2019-3 trade. Thanks! Brown with a fleeting, frothy head. Aroma of caramel, mixed grains. Taste is mildly bittersweet the whole way through, with the bitterness having the upper hand. Long finish full of roasted grain. Light bodied, watery texture, balanced carbonation. Not bad. Good flavor given the low ABV.
