Many thanks for this sample to Tomek. No to mamy tu niezlego sztosa. Piana bezowa, ciemne niczym najmocniejsze espresso z mojego ekspresu. Pachnie wspomniana kawa, bardzo intensywnie sa tez belgijskie trufle, sliwka w czekoladzie, nieco miodu gryczanego z dodatkiem kardamonu. Baaardzo smaczne i baardzo ciekie. 100ml w zupelnosci wystarcza. Dobrze pasuje do ogladania Odyseji kosmicznej Kubricka podgryzajac ser Kaszkwal.

Keg at Warsaw Beer Festival, 06/04/17. Black with a well presented tan cap. Nose is rich roast, dark malts, chocolate, spice, fruit cake. Taste comprises roast malts, molasses, charr, dried fruits, raisins, toffee, charr, cocoa sprinkle. Medium plus body, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced boost. Ok impy stout but no wow. Spotting a scoring pattern now having entered some backlog on my first RB trip to Polska ... seems everyone scores high on boosty stouts, regardless of the quality, but respectable hoppy sessionable beers that are 3.5 or so to me typically get low 3.0/1 scores!

Barwa czarna, nieprzejrzyste, piana beżowa, umiarkowanie trwała i obfita. Więcej nut z leżakowania i byłby wybitny.

Bottle from Euro Swap, thanks to Gebels! Black beer with dark brown head. Lots of thick molasses, fudge and caramel. Deep roast, light ash and those nice blackberries you often get from roasted malts. There’s also the dark chocolate, but it’s more like the sweet black chocolate puddings my mother used to make when I was young than just chocolate (sweet, dark and heavy). There’s some weird dusty cardboard on the nose but when drinking it’s nowhere to be found. Basically the sweet, thick and black sums up this beer quite well. There’s some roasted bitterness as well. Body is thick and syrupy. Damn they must have added crazy amounts of malt in this one. Quite a nice RIS.

Draft @ PiwPaw, Warsawa.
