This IPA uses a unique blend of pale malts, wheat, and oats to create a rich and complex base on which to layer hops. We started with Citra and then finished with a generous dry hop of Mosaic and Amarillo hops to deliver notes of peach and pine. Honey was added to lend balance and a touch of sweetness. Symmetry is harmony.

On tap at Apotekergården. It's an unclear orange colored beer with a nice offwhite head leaving cute lacing. Orange zest, some grapefruit and pine cones in the aroma with a light touch of pale malts. It's full to medium bodied and nicely carbonated, with a very soft bitterness. Orange zest, some grapefruit and pine cones, with pleasant pale malts. Lasting fruity finish. A delicious and easy drinkable beer. 201114

Can from Deconinck. Hazy yellow with a small, frothy, white head. Aroma of nectarine, peach, pineapple, tangerine, honey, lime, sorbet. Taste has sweet peach, nectarine & pineapple, bittersweet mandarin peel & indeed apparent honey maltiness but not even adding more sweetness. Floral hoppy & honey malty finish, lingeirng ripe tropical fruit & low bitter citrus rinds. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. The honey works well here and it doesn't dominate the hops, but those could have been more expressed either way.

Tap @ Patricks. Hazy yellow golden body with a small, lacing white head. Aroma has apricot, peach, tropical fruit and oranges. Taste is fresh and fruity like aroma, there is a very god balance between freshness and sweetness. The honey is barely notable in taste but contribute to more depth and a fine mouthfeel in a way I find more likeable than made with lactose. Fine body and pleasant aftertaste. Might feels closer to a refreshing, fruity wheat or blond than IPA but that’s the way IPA seems to be going these days. A really refreshing one it is anyway.
