Black with a medium creamy light brown head. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee and dried fruits. Sweet, some bitterness with a roasted malt, coffee and bread ending. Medium-full bodied. Not bad from Senja

Bottle. Clear dark amber, almost black body with a really nice, dense, lacing, long lasting beige head. Nice aroma of smooth roasted malt and dark chocolate. Taste is really smooth and balanced with gentle roasted dark malt, mild smoke, dark chocolate, toffee and hint of café latte with balanced bitterness as well. Fine body and pleasant aftertaste. A really nice classic porter without anything hanky-panky going on.

500ml bottle, BB 31.03.23, purchased at Vinmonopolet Langnes. Creamy beige head mostly remaining over a pitch black body. Lacing blanketing the glassware. Indeed, good looking! Attractive smell of black chocolate and caramel, comfortably roasted. Rounded, rich taste of chocolate malts, earth, and coffee. Lingering roasted bitterness to the finish with a lasting twist of coffee. Fine depth. Well made porter, and one of my best Norwegian ales so far this year. Enjoyed for an hour on a Saturday afternoon reading the latest edition of ØLentusiasteN (Tromsø 17.10.2020).
