Drukket på Lillehøgda. Ultramørk amber. Lavt tett skum med litt farge. Tynn teppelacing. God karamellaroma. Myk munnfølelse. Smaken marsipan. Spor av røyk. Tørr avslutning. Godt & annerledes øl.

330ml bottle, #105, bought at Vinmonopolet Langnes. A creamy beige head remaining over a near-clear dark brownish cap. Lacing rings down the glass. Moderate, mid-sweet doughy aromas. Spiced grainy flavours added by caramel hints, wood, and a slight note of herbal hops. Distant grainy bitterness to the ending. Quite well bodied. Likable, without further excitements. Bottle. A nut brown beer, unclear, with a finger thick beige head. Toffee, roasted malts and chocolate in the aroma, with bread crust and some pine cones and herbal. It's quite sweet on the palate, soft and full bodied, with lots of malty flavors. Enough bitterness to deal with the sweetness. Lasting malty finish. There's some interesting stuff going on here, but it feels rather messy. 200627

Bottle. Dark amber body with a nice tan head. Aroma has malt and fresh painted wood. Aroma is malty, worth, mature fruit and low bitterness. Medium body and mostly malty aftertaste. A rather boring version of a red ale, mostly malt and slightly harsh, miss some refreshing fruity hops here.
