Keg at Six Degrees N, Aberdeen. It pours clear golden with a decent white head. The aroma is fresh, juicy, bright, juicy candied melon, white grape, pear, ambergris, juicy orange, tangerine and candied stuff. The taste is firmly dry, bitter, pithy, zesty, orange peel, kumquat, straw, grass, lemongrass, ambergris and peppery spice with a drying finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Quite interesting hop character. Nice.

Bottle from Cork & Cask. Hazy golden body with a thin white head. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of pineapple and red apple. Flavour of lime and more apple. Medium body with an oily texture. Soft fizz. Although the bottle label states a US yeast had been used, there’s a nice Saison vibe to this. I enjoyed this.
