Bottle from Ølbutikken. clear orange, smooth white head. malty, faint flowery hoppy aroma. flavor is slightly smoked, smoke gives it some bitterness and a smoked ending.

500ml flip-top bottle bought at the store called Bier Spezialität Laden in Berlin. Golden body with a dense, white head. Spotty lacework on the glass. Smoked bacon and fried sausage to the nose. Taste of fried meat added by notes of roasted malts and hop resin. Soft in the mouth. Alright, but an unvaried version of the style (shared with Finn, Tromsø 21.04.2010).

Flaske 0,5l som Rune spanderte. Gyldenbrun med et høyt kremaktig skum. Lukter røkt svinekam, men ikke påtrengende. Smaken er avdempet røkt med en forsiktig bitterhet. Litt uvariert. KI=1

(Bottle) Poured golden and almost clear with medium sized and white head. Aroma contained smoke, smoked ham and malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were smoke, smoked ham, malts, sweetness, mildly salt, grass and bitterness. Aftertaste was smoky and bitter.

Bottle at Ølbaren.Hazy orange colour with small white head.Aroma of rope and wet wood also really smoked,note of bitter tea a o.k smoked but i like hummels smoke beer better.

Swing-top bottle. Light smoked ham and barley malt aroma. Copper color with large head. Smoked meat and barley malt flavor - nicely balanced and on the mild side. A nice beer.

On tap at Ølbaren, Copenhagen. Amber colour with a white head. Aroma is smoked, malt. Flavour is dry, smoked, malt, hint of hop. Easy drinkable beer.

Clear golden with large off white head. Sweet aroma with notes of smoke, malt and caramel. Flavour likewise with sweet smoked finish.

Draught (gravity dispensed) at Akkurat, Stockholm. Clear amber, firm head. Mid intensity beechwood smoke. Mild and sodt with some butter and salt and a bit of hay. Medium bodied with mild but growing bitterness. A very drinkable rauchbier with lovely malt structure.
