Tall can from Brewcraft at home. Medium dark cola brown with transparent edges. Almost no head, very little carbonation. Aroma is strong cookie dough/marshmallow sweetness - Irish whisky? - and a roasted bitter alcohol twang. Taste follows - pillowy roasted marshmallows, wood, burnt chocolate, coffee, leather. Alcohol warmth verges on strong but not too overwhelming. Very low carbonation but it works. A little chalky chocolate taste on the finish that’s a bit weird. Quite good.

Can. Black body under a fine tan head. Aroma is dark malt, chocolate, coffee, vanilla and whisky. Taste is sweet, soft malt, moderate roasted, strong coffee, dark chocolate, vanilla, mild wood and distinct whisky with balancing bitterness and some light warming alcohol. Fine body and long-lasting aftertaste. A fine pastry stout with lots of goodies, still not hiding the beer totally e.g. not overdoing the pasty part. Very nice desert beer.

440ml can bought at Vinmonopolet Langnes. Firm fawn-coloured head, almost black in the glass with a deep brownish glint. Crocheted lacing. Moderate smell of creamy malts, hints of wood and earth. Mid-sweet choco-coffee flavours, slightly doughy. More latte than espresso coffee to the ending. Decent stuff, but not quite there. (Tromsø 20.03.2020).

Black with a medium light brown head. Aroma of coffee, vanilla and chocolate. Sweet with a coffee and slightly vanilla end. Nice nightcap

Svart. Middels høyt skum med litt farge. Litt lacing. Aroma av vanilje & kakao. Myk munnfølelse. Smaken innholdsrik. Litt kaffe. Litt vanilje. Forsiktig preg av whisky. Lett tørr avslutning. Kaffen dukker opp igjen.
