Pours fairly clear blonde. Scent is intense and outspoken. Brett, apple peel, funky - even a tad too funky to me, perhaps. Taste is very nice, full apple. Far better funk balance. Raw, chewy apple, skins. Lovely. Medium high carbo. Fairly fullbodied for only 4 pct - due to the medium remaining sweetness.

On tap at Les Cuves de Fauve, pours a clear copper with a small white head. Aroma brings medium sweetness, gentle funk, and a bit of leather. Flavour is full of champagne yeast, with medium sweetness, leather, and barnyard funk. Lovely yeast profile here. Excellent.

On tap at La Fine Mousse. Deep orange with a lacy head and bubbles. Rich apple nose, some caramel and plums. Semi-sweet, baked honey apples with lemon, caramel, wood. Balanced and tasty. Good.

Sampled from bottle at International Cider Festival. Golden with white head. Sweet funky apples, I love how dirty and weird this is, nutty, applesauce, old moldy apple peel, sheeps grease, this is the true farmhouse style that I love. Moderate sweet and light bitter. --- Beer merged from original tick of Cidre Demi-sec on 04 Jun 2018 at 09:50 - Score: 7
