Not as bitter as its name suggests, Les Doits is a typical English style beer. Less than “normal” carbonation and a light, but very present, malty flavor. You’ll have to have a pint… or two.

It is a really light amber, malty, bready, some ginger bread, really watery, few hop, it is a regular beer. 06.03.2017, drinking it at Prélaz, Lausanne.

mahogany-like colour, medium sized dense beige-ish head, which lasts for a few minutes; aroma of burnt sugar, carrot-like notes, toasted rye bread and soe dried fruits; taste of malty-caramellish sweetness, some hoppy and roasted nutty bitterness and carrot again; not bad, though very far from being extraordinary

Süffiger, malzig bitter Beginn. Mild röstig, konstant bitter, eher trocken. Leicht ansteigende Intensität, rund, mittellanger Abgang. Nett. 11/9/10/9/11/9

Bottle. Pours a lovely brown with literally no head. Indeed there is no carbonation in the least. Aroma is very nutty, chocolate malt, barley. Medium body. Flat. Flavour is malty, nutty, slightly sweet, bread, rye. Lovely but brown ale more than ESB, too bad it lacks carbonation. Would be amazing as a cask ale.

Bottled 330ml. -Dark amber coloured, medium sized off-white head, dust and caramel in the nose. Toasted malt, caramel, brown sugar, touch of fruits and hops with slighty metallic finish. Drinkable.
