We've been racking our brains coming up with tasting notes for this one, trying to be unique and clever, maybe trying to come up with a pun that fits the name, but who are we trying to kid? It's a Hefeweizen! Brewed traditionally using all german ingredients, you can expect notes of banana and clove and some lemony zing from the wheat.

440ml can from Craft & Berry, Sheffield. Slightly hazy yellow gold colour, bubbly white foam head and aroma of wheat, spice, yeasty. Taste is sweetish, wheaty, with spice, banana, citric, bready notes, and tangy, alittle bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry spice yeasty finish. Quite drinkable.

Can from Glasbanken. Hazy golden/orange with a medium white head. Sweetish with some banana, perfume, bread and light spices. Not that Hefeweizen.

Can at home, 10th October 2020. Pours a hazy orange, big white head and looks authentic. Aroma is big wheat, citrus, spice, clove, pine. Taste is wheat, spice, clove, banana, loads of punchy flavour, it’s a great authentic Hefeweizen
