XL Extra Lager has been brewed with a hefty dose of Australian and US hops - Simcoe, Enigma and Centennial - which give the beer its full hoppy flavour.
Aromas of citrus and tropical fruit are interspersed with hints of freshly cut pine boughs, making way for an assertive hop bitterness that's supported by moderate malt flavours.
We deliberately extended the cool-temperature fermentation to get a clean finish and the results speak for themselves: this is one extra refreshing beer.

Can. Clear gold with a good inch of white head that fades slowly. Aroma of citrus with earthy and spicy notes behind - almost like they're trying to get a blend of new hops to mimic noble ones. A little sweet with that illusion of richness you get in decent lager before a moderately bitter finish. Good.

Pours gold with a large fading head.Nose shows hay, grassy hops, passion fruit, peach and floral hops.Flavours include bready malt, earthy and spicy hops and a bit of a floral note before finishing very cleanly with a refreshing mild bitterness.
