This Belgian Dubbel is true to the classic dark ale perfected by Belgian monks wanting to brew a beer that had plenty of fortitude. With its prominent plum and raisin notes and characteristic caramel sweetness from candied sugar, this double-barrelled flavour sensation brings divine inspiration to Godzone.
Taste: Rich complex malt characters, caramel sweetness with spicy phenolics, notes of dark chocolate.

500ml bottle. Pours dark brown. Biscuit, cloves, prunes, figs, banana, little cinnamon. Fine.

Draft at Brothers courtesynof Nick, thank you! Hazy amber color, very light for a dubbel. Aroma of caramel and toffee. Taste is smooth milk chocolate, toffee.
