1/2 pint from the cask at the Bridge Inn, Topsham. Pours a copper colour with a creamy white head. Aromas & tastes of caramel, toffee, raisins, nuts & malt. Medium body. Moderate bitter finish. Very enjoyable

Third by cask, second day of GBBF Winter 20, Astbury Bar. Shared with Finn. Clear copper coloured body, filmy layer, dotted spots on the glass. Caramel malty nose, hint of ripe fruits. Honeyed fruity flavours, mid-dry. Hints of boiled malts to the ending. Fair enough. (Birmingham 05.02.2020).
