A New England Oatmeal Stout brewed in collaboration with Vocation Brewery.

Built upon on a backbone of dark malts and a heavy oat presence, this beer oozes a warm roasted body and creamy mouthfeel.

Vermont yeast, plus Galaxy & Ekuanot hop additions give the beer a wintry spiced aroma, delicate dark fruit flavours and a lingering, decadent coffee finish.

Cask @ #MBCF20, [ Manchester Beer & Cider Festival 2020 ], Manchester Central Convention Complex, Windmill St, Petersfield, M2 3GX Manchester, Great Manchester, England.

[ As Saltaire / Vocation Harbor Lights ].
ABV: 5.9%. Clear medium to dark brown colour with a small to average, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, burnt, oat, dark malt. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, roasted bitter, oat, burnt - dark roasted, woody hops. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20200123]

Cask, third, shared with fonefan and Finn at Manchester Beer & Cider Festival, Brewery Microbars. Near black in the glass, beige head, scattered lacing. Inviting creamy malts on the nose, slightly roasted. Doughy dark malty flavours, hints of liquorice. Roasted bitter end. Quite alright. (2nd day at the festival 23.01.2020).

Cask @ Vocation & Co, Hebden Bridge. Extremely dark with a creamy off-white head. It's smooth textured and pleasant, but does not have that much of a stated stout taste.
