This little bear is a real star! Palest gold in colour with a big refreshing hoppy character.

Half-pint, cask shared with Finn at The Briton's Protection. Bright warm golden body, chalk white head, spotty lacing. Moderate smell of grassy hops, mid-sweet. Taste of grass and peaches, malty sweetness beneath. Soft, mid-dry bitter end. Satisfying. (Manchester 22.01.2020).

Cask at Bull & Stirrup, Chester Pours a pale gold with a tight sizeable white head and good lacing. Unlike other posters, mine was clear not hazy. A vague aroma of apples and general citrus. In the mouth it is creamy with hops and biscuits featuring. Finish is bitter and hoppy. I don’t normally like Beartown beers, but this is quite nice.

Cask. A hazy golden beer with a dense white head. The aroma has notes of malt and grassy hops. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and grassy and citrusy hops, leading to a dry, toffeeish, and hayish finish. The body is light, but the beer is very refreshing.

Cask handpull at Market Porter, Borough. Hazy gold colour with thin white head. Good malt/hop balance. Juicy malt in mouth. Just some odd flavours, bit of bleach? but a good citrus finish.
