Collaberation with Beavertown, Gin & Tonic spiced saison.
A spiced saison with juniper berries, coriander seed, lemon zest and the bitter cinchona bark to create the craft beer version of a good old Gin Tonic.

Bottle from Speciaalbierpakket. Aroma is herbal and spicy with juniper, orange peel, coriander, a touch of vegetable, and lime. Flavour is medium sweet. Body is medium. Bit of an odd one, some nice juniper and citrus peel, yet some not so nice vegetable-ish notes. Drinkable novelty beer.

Go Bills! Almost clear, amber color and a nice white head. Malty, herbaceus nose, lots of juniper, alcoholic. Malty and boozy start, faint funky, herbal, warming, bitter.

Slightly aged sample Huge, dense off-white head over faintly veiled amberish golden beer, lively and fine carbonation, some UFO's. Straw, oxydation, under a fine herbal nose, indeed reminiscent of gin. Herbs. Oxydation, cookies, old rags, gin, buffalo grass. Not really tonic bitter. Slick, sticky; carbonation seems to fall dead after a while. An experiment. Not really successful, IMO. Thanks to Stef!

Bottle, left over from last year's BBF. Deep golden colour with particles floating in it. Dense rocky off white head with good retention. Aroma's: spice/herbs/vegetable is really applicable here, with some sweetness and fruity sourness. Retronasal there's lots of herb and spice as well, some bitterness and fruity sourness. Flavour is moderate sweet with some harsh herbal bitterness. Medium bodied. Quite high carbonation. Lots of herbs in the finish, bitter too. Oh well.

31/VIII/19 - 33cl bottle @ Cybu's spontaneous BBQ, BB: 12/XII/18, bottled: 12/XII/17 - (2019-1354)
Clear orange beer, small aery irregular off-white head, unstable, bit adhesive. Aroma: wort, lots of grains, hay, spicy. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: bit sweet, fruity, spicy, tastes like a saison, but a bit too sugary, some honey, quinces I guess, malty. Aftertaste: spicy, grains, bit sourish, fruity, bit spicy.

Bottle. Blonde. Orange peel and coreander in the slightly herbal, citric aroma. Malty, yet fairly dry flavor with orange peels and firm herbal notes. Juniper. Satisfyingly balanced, especially for a spiced beer. Marmelade finish. Decent.

0.33 l bottle. Thanks, Višnja. Hazy golden, small off-white head. Light yeast, light spice, aggressive phenols, cardboard. Where's the gin tonic component? Astringent, aggressive, alcohol. Ripe apple. Almost undrinkable. Medium body, high carbonation, lousy finish. What is this?
