ABV: 5.3%. Clear medium amber yellow colour with a average to large, frothy light open, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, sweet malt, caramel, toffee, light to moderate hoppy, grass, fruity hops. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration, sweet malt, caramel, grass, hops bitter, light toffee, medium dry. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. Lahev: Very deep golden coloured with a reddish sheen - "diky přidání 'červeného' sladu" - firm and creamy off-white head with pinkish(!) sheen, bready-malty nose with a herbal-peppery hoppiness in the background, a buttery touch included; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, nearly medium bodied, pretty soft; lingering bitter-sweet finish of bready malt and peppery hops. (bottle) Hazy, deep golden to amber colour with a firm and medium-sized, slightly tanned foamy head. Bready malty aroma with notes of caramel, as well as grassy and slightly earthy and almost sprucey hops. Mildly sweet and slightly bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a smooth carbonation. Bready malt character with traces of caramel, minerals, backed by present grassy and earthy hops, lingering into the sweet-bitter finish. Something nicely different. 17.IX.18

Prometheus war ein Titan, der dafür bekannt wurde, dass er den Menschen das Feuer brachte. Dies ist vielleicht ein Zusammenhang zu der roten Farbe des Bieres. Es ist geschmacklich nicht so herausragend, aber durchaus schmackhaft. Eine Mischung aus Lager und Rotbier. Interessant finde ich, dass Prometheus als Strafe für seinen Dienst an den Menschen, von Zeus im Kaukasus festgekettet wurde, wo ein Adler immer ein Stück seiner Leber fraß, dass dann wieder nachwuchs. Befreit aus dieser Misere hat ihn übrigens Herakles. Ob das Bier die selbe leberzersetzende Wirkung wie der Adler hat, ist aber nicht bekannt.
