Tap at Winterbierfestival Leiden. Hazy dark brown with beige head. Red wine, toffee, loads of nuts, figs, lots of red port wine, rye bread. Very sweet and light bitter. Full bodied. Nice one.

Sampled from tap at Leiden Winterbier Festival. Hazy dark amber/ brown. With cream head. Sweet toasted malts, caramel, big dates, figgs, complete nut mix; peanuts, cashew, brazil nuts, walnuts, raisans, goji berries. Liquid borrel snack. Quite sweet and nutty bitter. Medium body, soft carbonation. Nuts!
