Wetherspoon Autumn Beer Festival 2019. Cask @ Waterhouse, Manchester. Very dark red with a creamy off-white head. It’s inoffensively malty-sweet with a few sugars involved.

Half-pint, cask at The Quay (JDW). Shard with Finn. Creamy white head to a rosewood coloured body, rich lacing. Inviting smell of creamy malts, mid-sweet. Malt-driven taste of liquorice and nuts. Pretty nice. (Poole 22.10.2019).

Cask-conditioned, at the Postern Gate, (JDW), York October 2019. Deep, ruddy, brown in colour, with a slight, off-white, head. Some leafy hops, caramel, red berries, a hint of chocolate and a moderately bitter finish. Good.

Delt med Rune på The Quay, Poole. Dyprød. Middels høyt tett skum. Teppelacing. Søt lakrisaroma. Smaken mere fruktig. Plommer. Forsiktig søt etter hvert. Tørr avslutning.

Cloudy red ale, creamy head. Some berries in there, malt, dry hops. It's an interesting flavour with something I can't put my finger on. Pleasant though

Tried at The Tollemache JDW, Grantham. Deep caramel colour with a pale tan head. Aroma is berry and toffee. Taste mainly sweet. Slightly thin.
