Cask ale, half-pint shared with Finn at Greyfriar. Unclear dark brown body with a deep shade of red. Dotted spots on the glass. Bubbles on the surface. Quite appealing aromas of bread and toffee. Nuts, caramel and a bite of smoke to the taste profile. Ends smooth and semi sweet. Decent. (Reading 20.10.2019).

Delt med Rune. Ultramørkebrun. Skum langs glasset. Karamellaroma. Myk munnfølelse. Smaken litt malt. Innslag av tørket frukt. Balansert.

Cask at the Three Guineas, Reading. Reddish chestnut with a tight cream head; fruity aroma with a touch of chocolate; rather thin in the mouth with a smokey taste at first, then more malty with purple fruit and chocolate malts; before an earthy finish.

Cask-conditioned at the Staple Hill Oak (JDW), Bristol 30/10/10. Dar, ruffy brown with a decent, off-white head. Sweet aroma of toffee and red fruit, with a touch of grassy hop. Flavour was packed with caramel, some nuttiness and fruit, before a short, bitter finish. Ok.
