Keg at Waterloo Tap. A slightly opaque gold. Thin white head just skirts the surface. Aroma has herbs, citrus and malts. Medium bitter. Resinous. Grainy. Tart citrus. Herbs. Underlying malts. A tad trad IMO. Light-medium bodied. Slick if on the thin side. Flat-soft carbonation. A phantomesque fizzy prickle. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Bitter but still manages to edge towards dull.

Cask at Curious Gnome, Chester (as Special Brew Session IPA). Pours a hazy golden amber with a medium sized foamy off-white head. The aroma has hops and malts, plus a hint of grapefruit. In the mouth it is quite bitter but also juicy with some underlying sweetness. Hops to the fore in the flavour along with some citrus and traces of berries. Finish is slightly dry. This is reasonable.

On keg at Fuggles Beer Cafe. Half-pint shared with Finn. Upper part lacing, remaining white head, unclear golden body. Promising smell of tropcal fruits. Fresh taste of peaches and mid-sweet citrus. Ends with a touch of fruity bitterness. Refreshing and pleasant. (Tunbridge Wells 18.10.2019).

19/3/2019. Can from Eel & Bear, Hastings. Pours slightly hazy golden colour with a large quickly dissipating just off-white head. Aroma of tropical fruit, citrus, peaches and pomelo. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness. Light body, slight oily and watery texture, average carbonation. Nice aroma, fades a bit though.

On tap at The Pantiles Tap Tunbridge Wells. Hazy gold colour lasting white head. Fruity citrus aroma and flavour. Decent tropical fruit .needs a bit more malt backbone to carry the hop. OK. Citrus tropical. Just a little empty.
