Mørk orangebrun klar med fingerhøyt beige skum. Lukter lett av brent karamell, noe nøtter og tørket frukt. Lett. Maltig sødme. Brent karamell, nøtter og kandis. Lite bitterhet. Kort

On tap at Nisom, pours a dark amber brown with a large tan head. Nose brings out toasted malt and dark fruits. Flavour brings out caramel bready malts and syrupy toffee. Sweeter and heavier for a brown ale without being cloying or overburdening. Quite nice.

On tap at Bergen Ølfestival 2014. A clear, dark amber colored beer topped by a dense, dark beige head. The aroma has some fluor from the hops, with nuts, a light roasted maltyness and some generic fruityness. Quite a lot of caramel in the flavor, with a pleasant roasted touch, nuts and a decent bitterness. It’s dry on the palate, with a pleasant carbonation level. Medium body fullness and a lasting finish. Althoug a tad boring, it’s a fine beer for sure. 140905

05.09.2014, tap @ Bergen Ølfestival:
Nice creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly grainy, weeds, worth, grass, nuts, unripe banana, wet grain, cardboard. Taste is slightly sour-ish soapy, burnt caramel, paper, hay, roasted grain, sour coffee, soap, paper, sugar, unripe banana. Medium bitterness, harsh mouthfeel. Meh!

Her må noe ha gått galt. Skal prøves senere i ny utgave.

Dark brown, short beige head. Dark caramel in aroma, pulled down by all but generous amounts of green apples. Taste is slightly better, with bitterness and dark malt sweetness in a futile attempt of overriding the aforementioned unripe and consequently green apples. Dissapointing fault of an otherwise competent brewery.
