Cask at the Loughborough beer festival 2022. Deep mahogany colour with a tan head. Malty roasted and light sweet. Thin body.

Handpull cask at the Mash & Press, Anstey. Listed as 4.7%. Dark brown and translucent with a medium tan head. Aroma of chocolate, and Bisto. Odd but not unpleasant. The master is more gravy-led with chocolate and gentle stone fruit notes. Light body. I'm not quite sure about this one!!

14/3/2019. Cask at the Leicester Beer Festival 2019. Pours slightly hazy mid-brown with a small off-white head. Aroma of sweet toffee, roasted malt, grain, hint of chocolate and hops. Medium plus sweetness, moderate roasted bitterness. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Sweet malty finish.

500ml bottle, beer gift from jjsint, many thanks. Near-black in the glass. Bubbly, beige head leaving spotty lacing on the glassware. Inviting smell of earthy chocolate malts. Grainy chocolate malts with notes of oatmeal to the taste profile. Roasted ending with traces of coffee. Well made stout. (Shared at a session with TheCellarer, Snegurochka and Finn, Tromsø 09.03.2019).

Spandert av jjsint. Delt med Rune, Snegurochka og TheCellarer på Nerstranda. Ultramørk amber. Lavt skum med litt farge. Karamellaroma. Smaken lakris & melkesjokolade. Tørr avslutning.
