Cask ale, half-pint, shared with Finn at Charters in Peterborough. White head that laced well. Clear golden body. Moderate smell of ripe lemony hops. Hints of leafy hops to the taste buds added by traces of malty sweetness. Bittersweet endnotes. Satisfying. (11.02.2019).

Cask gravity, at Letter B, Whittlesey, Saturday 10th January 2015 on Whittlesey Straw Bear weekend (we stopped at Peterborough Central Travelodge) Pours gold, clear and in jolly good nick. However taste wise this is a fairly average run of the mill golden ale with just a light furry rub across roof of mouth. I understand that this is a Straw Bear Special. Served by the two brewers, its ok but lacks a little. A6 A4 T6 P3 Ov11 3.0
