A lavishly hopped amber bitter. Although low in ABV, the comet and mount hood hops give this beer a stunning presence and has this beer punching above its weight.

Cask-conditioned, in the company of imdownthepub at the Gryphon, Bristol 27/4/2019. Amber in colour, with a tight, white, head. Citrus character, a touch of lemon sharpness, robust malts and a lingering, bitter, finish. Good.

Half-pint, cask ale, shared with Finn at Rupert Brooke (JDW) in Rugby. Laces well, smell white head, unclear orange golden body. Moderate nose of doughy fruits. Dought and mealy flavours, hints of leafy hops. Ends doughy with discreet bitterness. Accepted. (12.02.2019).

22nd Jan 2019, hand-pulled cask pint in my local Wetherspoons. Full on amber body, off-white head that hung around. Hop front to both the aroma and taste, dank, bitter hops actually; piney and earthy in nature. Liked it.
