Half-pint, cask at Blue Boar in Leicester. Shared with Finn. Clear dark brown body, remaining beige head, clingy lacing. Moderate smell of dark brown malts. Blended taste character of nuts, caramel and dried fruits. Earthy malts with a fruity touch to the finish. Satisfying. (10.02.2019).

Delt med Rune i hyggelig selskap av jjsint. Mørkebrun. Så vidt litt skum. Forsiktig nøttearoma. Smaken metallisk frukt. Lett tørr avslutning. Kjeks.

Handpull cask at the Blue Boar, Leicester with Rune and Finn. Mid brown, clear with a ring of loose off-white head. Sour nutty aroma with caramel and sarsaparilla. Taste is oaky, bittersweet, slightly peppery. Long medicinal finish with a flat oily body. Not one of the better bitters available.

From cask at Blue Boar, Leicester, 23.05.18. Clear dark copper. Pale brown head with large bubbles. Aroma and taste of medium dark malt, biscuits, roasted nuts and burnt caramel. Low bitterness. Uncarbonated. More like a dark mild than a bitter.

Clear deep nutty color with a fine tan head. Ok lacing. Looks good. Medium body and a quite flat carbonation level. Tad sweet and a decent bitterness. Nutty, caramel , herbal and mild fruity flavor. Decent flavor, just served to flat and a bit to warm.
