This smooth golden beer uses various dark malts in small quantities to lend a deceptive malty character to the beer. Combined with traditional English hops to give a nice refreshing floral finish.

On cask at 37th Fleetwood Beer & Cider Festival. Shared with Finn. Off-white head, clear copper-reddish body, spotty lacing. Moderate smell of leafy hops and mild malty sweetness. Malt-fruity flavours followed by a gentle bitter touch to the finish, hints of citrus peels. Pleasant version of the style. (07.02.2019).

Cask @ Frank Hornby, Maghull. Clear golden with a small head. Bitter in character with some mild floral notes amongst the strong bitterness. There’s some fruitiness in its nose.

Cask at the Borough, Lancaster, 01/03/15. Clear golden with a moderate off white head. Nose is rather thin, pale malt, grassy, citric notes. Taste comprises bread dough, pale malt, touch vanilla, straw. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close. Easy drinking but doesn’t deliver much - blandometer rising here.
