Funky. Grainy sweet with a blue cheese funk. Nice orange-amber color, little head. Really cheesy nose. Light bodied, candy like finish.

Bottle. Nose is plums, flowers, lemon, wood, a bit of cream. Cloudy, dark orange with lace. Flavor is shocking, like Pez-flavored ginger ale soda pop. Very weird and interesting but falls off the cliff of what seems like beer. Green apples, ripe tropical fruits, ginger, all wrapped up in a thin body and fake sweetness. Sorachi becomes identifyable only after it warms up. Weird.

500ml bottle. Hazy, orangey golden colour with average to huge, thick, fluffy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Yeah, exactly this: sugary and hoppy aroma with typical Sorachi Ace notes of coconut, fruity hints of mirabelle, nectarine, apricot. Taste is dry, fruity and minimally herbal hoppy, subtle sugary sweetness with sugar powder touch, notes of coconut, a touch of mint, hints of mirabelle, nectarine, mandarine; full body, smooth and soft palate, fine carbonation.

Pours deep orange with a good foamy head. Leaving nice persistent lacings. Nose is light hoppy and sourish, sweet mango and gummy bears. Sorachi Ace? Makes sense when you look at the name. Taste is mildly hoppy, fruity melon and pear. Lime and ginger. Good balance, I like how all these Prairie beers feel somewhat sourish and still well hopped and smooth, elegantly drinkable.

Bottle split at CBC Islington, thanks to LKS, 26/04/17. Hazed golden orange with a big white covering. Nose is peach, straw, candied fruit peel, spice, orange rinds, grains. Taste comprises light funk, apricot jam, peach yoghurt, stale bread. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a light Sorachi kick. Decent.

Cloudy orange color. Dry yeast, great carbonation and prickly on the palate, some spice, and moderate hops. Good saison, I did not find it very sweet even with the sugar.

Bottle. Pours quite hazy orange, large white creamy fluffy head, dissipates slowly, nice lacing. Aroma is melons, oranges, lemongrass, white tea. Flavor is light plus sweet, light bitter, melons with a hint of tropical note. Medium body, soft mouthfeel. Pretty nice.

Bottle @ home shared with Joes. Gusher! Hazy to murky orange color, medium to full sized quickly diminishing off-white head. Aroma is wheat, malts, somewhat fruity, lightly sweet, lightly citrus and lightly herbs or spices. Taste lightly malts, lightly wheat, white pepper, herbs or spices, citrus, brett, sweetish (candy sugar?) in the end. I mainly get a herbal, white peppery flavor first, followed by a citrussy touch before finishing with a sweetish mango/peach -ish flavor mixed with a light bretty touch. Not bad I’d say, but really not something I like. I can see people liking this a lot though.
