Bottle. Clear, dark brown, close to black body with a fast fading tan head. Aroma is strong and delicious with mild roasted malt, strong coffee, dark chocolate and hint of vanilla. Flavor is super smooth and quite sweet, but not sticky and unbalanced, there is a perfect balance between the sweetness, alcohol and bitterness. Almost unbelievable smooth, sweet, mild roasted malt, coffee, dark chocolate, vanilla and balancing bitterness. The alcohol is present as some kind of body mouthfeel but otherwise no aroma nor taste, no booze at all. Perfect body and long lasting aftertaste. It’s made as a desert beer, but not too sweet and may also actually work with some kind of strong flavored meat dishes. What a delicious threat it is.

330ml bottle, batch 260, from Vinmonopolet Langnes. The oily pour reveals a decent, creamy tan-coloured head blanketing the glass. Pitch black body. Roasted chocolate malty aromas, distant notes of alcohol. Blended taste of caramel malts, lactose, coconut, dark fruits and spruce. Lingering bittersweet malty finish. Well made. Enjoying sipper on a Saturday afternoon. (Tromsø 19.01.2019).

Bottle, at Både&. It pours a dark, dark brown body and no head. Some curtains. Roasted malts, coffee, chocolate, toast, burnt bread, toffee and some alcohol in the aroma. It's super smooth and silky, full-bodied and lightly warming on the palate, with loads of malty flavors. Chocolate, coffee, roasted malts, burnt toast, toffee, caramel, some licorice and alcohol in the flavor. Lasting warming, silky smooth finish with roasted malts, chocolate and rye bread. A delicious one indeed. 181205
