Bottle 33 cl. Pours a clear, deep golden with a small, off-white head. Aroma of wort - and metal. Light body, sweet wort, a caramel note, cardboard and just a faint imagination of hops. 250624

Bottle. Pours a clear straw colour with a small off-white head. Light aroma of sweet corn, cooked vegetables, grass and hay. Flavour of weeds, grass and pale malt. Has a slick and thin mouthfeel, light body and bitterness. Careful aroma and similar to a pale lager. A little strange flavour.

Gylden brun klar med to fingre høyt hvitt skum. Lite lukt, noe malt og korn. Smaker noe søtlig i starten, karamell, noe brent. Bitter mot sluttet. Kort. Tørr.

330 ml bottle. Clear, rather pale golden body with a white head that fades quite fast. Not much aroma here, some grain and that’s all. Flavor is like a plain down watered general industrial lager. No obvious faults, but no real flavor or bitterness either. Body is not as thin as expected, that’s almost like a surprise with so little malt flavor. It’s more than less like any other non-alcoholic pilsner style beers, but certainly among the less flavored one. Drinkable if this is what you need, but there are better alternatives out there. I really don’t see the connection with Christmas here as most traditional Christmas dishes deserve some malt flavors and at least some bitterness. Pure water would do the same job in this case.

Bottle. It’s a clear, dark amber to copper colored beer topped by a small, dense, off-white head. The aroma is rather bready and spent grains-like, with a certain fruityness and some grassy, piney hints. It’s medium bodied with a soft carbonation and it’s semi-dry. A distinct bitterness saves it from being relly poor, with flavors of spent grains and bread taking up most of the space on your tastebuds. Grains, bitterness and some piney, grassy notes. Not awful, but sure not worth the hazzle. 151129
