On tap at the brewpub. A clear-looking dark brown beer with a creamy light beige head. Curtains. The aroma is on the malty side, with roasted malts, coffee and a touch of hoppy bitterness. It's full-bodied and creamy on the palate, a bit heavy on the carbonation, with a suitable bitterness level. It's lightly sweet, with a light fruity hoppyness, and dominated by roasted malts. Some coffee flavor too. Lasting finish. Not very true to style, but sure nice anyway. 190607

God, men kanskje litt mer røstet enn hva som er vanlig. Nydelig skum. Smakte ferskt og lekende, som er hvordan en bayer er best. Noe kornpreg, men ikke plagsomt mye.

150ml draught at the brewpub. Filmy layer over a clear golden-brown body. Spotty lacing. Bread and herbal hops on the nose. Mixed taste profile of caramel, bread and moments of citrus peels. Semi-dry ending. Clean in the mouth. Decent bayer. (Oslo 04.12.2018).

Fine deep golden color with an ok head. Dotted lacing down the sides of the glass. Decent mellow aroma. A fine carbonation level made it easy to drink. Also a pleasant sweetness level. Caramel malt, fruity and a fine orange peel in the back. Nice session able beer.
